 Siesta is a publishing house for which I designed the covers of a collection made up of three titles: El llano en llamas, Nuestra parte de noche, and Yo, robot. The project began with a key requirement: the illustrations had to be purely abstract—avoiding any figurative representation—while still conveying the essence of summer, the unifying concept of the series. To achieve this, I created an abstract shape resembling a star that serves as the guiding thread and common element across the three covers.
         This visual device, reinterpreted in each title through variations in color and composition, provides coherence to the collection and reinforces its identity. Warm colors and dynamic layouts evoke the energy and brightness of summer while also engaging with the unique narratives of each work.
